Title: DEFEATED

The cruel abyss below beckons,
Evil awaits,
Flames of hell lash at the sky,
Vast as space,
His cries are ones of anguish,
Of defeat,
An eye peers at him from the heavens,
Failure washes over him,
Like rain cascading from the sky,
But it will not kill the fiery embers,
That rise from the earth,
He closes his eyes,
His heart pounds in agony,
For he has lost,
And victory has slipped from his fingers,
And into the abyss below,
Of Failure,
Of Self-pity,
Of Disappointment,
DEFEATED.
