It wasn't Lily's fault she was Voldemort's granddaughter. She just wanted to be normal.She wasn't. She grew up and married and had a son, Harry Potter.It was year after
Harry's birth, James and Lily had recently moved into a home in Godric's Hollow.Shortly afterwards their Secret Keeper betrayed them. Lily was humming a soft lullaby to her baby boy, who had not a care in the world. James was watching out side the window. The trick-or-treaters had left long ago leaving Lily and James to sit happily in front of the fire.Well at least it was their plan. There was a loud knock on the door
'We have stragglers.'James said,
'I'll get it love so don't you worry.' Lily nodded and held her baby and cooed at him.James who always remembered his mother's old saying
'Look through the peephole before you open the door.' He peeked out and what he saw made his blood run cold.Outside their door was Voldemort.James ran into the other room after locking the door screaming
'LILY IT'S HIM TAKE HARRY AND GO I'LL TRY AND HOLD HIM OFF!!' Lily stumbled out of the room.Voldemort opened the door and sneaked up behind James. James spun around and seethed
'Voldemort.' Those were the last words James said before he was killed.Lily was running out the back way. But Voldemort was quicker.He caught her in the hallway and she ran all the way to Harry's room. It was a dead end.Voldemort came up behind her as well but Lily slammed the door in his face only to have it broken down.Lily turned around shakily and placed Harry down and knelt in front of him.
'Please Grandfather no, take my life if you must but don't take my son's.'Voldemort shook his head
'Emerald, Emerald, you are ym grandchild I don't have to or need to kill you, stand aside please.' Lily's eyes filled with tears.
'He's your great grandson, why do you wnat him dead?Please not Harry, take me instead, kill me instead.'Voldemort shook his head again.
'I can't Emerald.'Lily cried hard
'Have mercy jhave mercy have mercy have mercy.'Voldemort shook his head and raised his wand.
'Avada Kedavra.'
