Title: Boredom and the Fly
This is a story of part of my life; the part of my life when I'm bored and have
nothing to do; the part of my life I'm in right now.
Right now. Right now I'm sitting at the computer typing, but a few minutes ago
I was sitting at the computer doing nothing. That's right, just sitting. (Well,
technically I am doing something, but never mind.) Anyway, so I'm sitting here
trying to think of something to do, when I decide it would make sense to actually
use the computer. So I pull up edbydesign, and am sitting here, now thinking
of something to write about, when I see a fly on the windowsill. Like me, it's
just sitting there, only, unlike me, it decides to do something. Suddenly with a
flurry of action, or as much action as a fly can make, it starts rubbing its hands
together in an attempt to look like an evil schemer. (It was actually just eating.)
Then it flys off the sill and onto my nose where it starts ripping huge chunks of
flesh off my fa----Well, maybe not. But it did fly off the sill and onto the computer,
as if reminding me that I should get a move on and start typing. So I did.
And ended up with that story. (Please don't look at me and give me a look, that
grown-ups use when their thinking, 'Strange, very strange. This child needs
medical help immediatley.' How do you spell IMMEDIATLEY anyway?)
