Golden

Prologue
A single blood red beam of light cut through the darkness in a field, illuminating an army of dark figured warriors, as they marched steadily toward the castle. The beam was coming from a large oval stone faceted into the hilt of a large sword, held by a tall menacing figure, rapidly approaching the castle at inhuman speed. The figure held the sword over his head, the crimson light twisting and forming into the shape of a dragon. The Firebrand, an ancient power held by the Larrikin bloodline sworn enemy to the Senobian.
Here at last the prophecy would take place, the sacred birth of the Larrikin and the Senobian, brothers of darkness and light. The golden children would be born to the Gramrock bloodline, from which ancient and almost forgotten powers could be awakened. The twins, each with golden shining eyes, slept silently at their mother’s side, each destined to greatness, each in great danger.
