The Larrikin felt the Magiopia bend behind him. He turned to see a young blond-haired man casting a spell at him. A flaming ball of green fire burst through the man’s hands, speeding directly at him. The green flame tore and burned the Larrikin’s sinewy flesh all the way through his dead rotted body, and out the other end. He screamed a long and haunting scream that slowly, hatefully began to become a laugh, a demonic laugh that chilled the poor boy’s spine. The dead flesh wove itself back together; the dark sinewy strands curling back up like a bed of snakes. He raised his sword and the Firebrand shifted. The Larrikin swung his sword at the man’s head, with a blazing red fire, that sizzled his brain, and charred his skull. The man didn’t have time to scream before his body died, but he felt an extreme pain and heard high pitch cackling laugh until his vision blurred and the laugh was overtaken by the rushing sound of air as he began his fall through complete darkness. Suddenly he was overtaken by a sense of calm as he became enslaved by the ultimate evil, Mordis.
