Title: Best of friends... Chapter 1.
I'd just wanted to have fun. I just wanted a peaceful holiday with my friends...
It couldn't happen, could it?
My name is Jenna, I live in London with my Mum and Dad. And my dog, of course.
For my thirteenth birthday I was allowed to take my best friends, Allie and Jess on holiday to Whitby with me.
We went down on the train on the Friday before my birthday. Allie was talking non-stop about what a great weekend we were going to have and Jess was sleeping, she'd been up almost all night thinking about our first holiday all together. When we got to Whitby we took a cab to the hotel. Mum and Dad booked us in and we all grabbed the suitcases and waited, impatiently.
I remember clearly every detail... The grins on my friends faces as we past the large oak double door to the dining room, the large, comfortable red sofas and chairs for waiting on and the large stairs with oak bannisters and my parents leading us up the stairs, Mum holding the key...
The room was beautiful. There was a door to a pearl-style bathroom (with complimentary shampoo, conditioner and soap in small packets and squeezy bottles).
There was a door to Mum and Dad's room with a beautiful double bed and oak chests of draws.
There was another door to our room. It had three beds, each covered in red bedsheets, I bagged the one by the window and sat on the windowsill, looking at the sea washing up on the shore...
The main room had a TV and sofa and a few armchairs.
We all unpacked, went and ate tea (Egg, chips and beans with ice cream for dessert, YUM!) Then spent an evening on the beach, just walking along and talking.
Then the sun set in a haze of orange, we watched a little TV and went to bed.
It was midnight when I found myself awake. I looked out of the window for a while and then I saw someone... or something below on the beach... he looked straight up at me and just disappeared...
For a brief moment his green eyes bored into my skin...
Who was he?!
Authors note: Hi, remember me? I last wrote on here about a year ago, sorry it took me so long!
