Title: The ugly little duckling (poem)
Family of ducklings swimming one day
Came upon a stoat in hay.
`your children, my dear, are quite stuning
But the end one is digusting`
`Tag along, Nice stoat, I'm sure.`
Little duckling delaring it war,
`I'm as nice,as nice can be.
Soon, soon I shall make them see.`
Out of the water he did climb
And walked the bank for a long,long time,
Until a puss puss he did see
`Puss puss, I lose my way.` Said he.
`Take a hike you ugly thing.`
Said puss puss with a snap to the wing.
Onward and upward did duckling head
And all he meet shuned him and said,
`You ugly beast, you stupid duck,
Go 'less you wish me your feathers to pluck.
Now leave and go, begone I say.
I wish to see you no other day.`
So on he walked, day and night,
'Till he saw some birds in filght.
With majestic beauty they did gild
Now no longer did he wish to hide.
`Come fly with us beyond the sky`
They asked,`Oh come, come fly.`
`Is it true ,do you want to fly with me`
`Well why not, your as majestic as can be.`
So to water and to his awe
What he thought wasn't what he saw.
A swan so graceful, all in white
And as all soon saw, beatiful in flight.
So day by day he passes them.Tall,
Stuning and majesti compared to them all.
So rember this; The uglest ducling
will become the prettest swans that swim.
