Title: The Color Of Love
What's the color of love?
Is there a color in the world?
The white of a calm dove?
All existing colors swirled?
The pink of blush,
Compliment hit target,
The tomato of shush,
You've had it, I bet,
The blue of so sad,
When you've hit bottom,
The orange of so mad,
At your boyfriend or mom,
The flutter of heart,
That just can't let go,
The resisting part,
That won't say no,
The part that borders hate,
Almost, but not quite it,
The number of emotions is great,
And all of the colors fit,
Love blinds you,
But makes you see,
What to do,
No longer mystery,
Open your eyes,
You're tripping over it,
Your yearning heart cries,
You hypocrite!
Can't deny it's there,
Don't want to know,
Love isn't fair,
But it's a feeling we all show,
Color of love; color of life,
Color of dove; color of strife,
Color of pain; color of gain,
Color of cry; color of lie,
Don't ignore it,
A life without love,
Isn't worth a bit,
Follow the shove!
Love your neighbor,
Love your mom,
It's worth the labor,
To get the calm,
Love your enemies,
Alike everyone else,
When everyone agrees,
We'll have true wealth,
We all know that love,
That lives among us,
Is sent from above,
And can be trusted,
