Why does the wind sting my face on this autumn day?
Why do the fairies hide?
Why do the trees grow tall and away from me?
Have I done something wrong?
Why do pebbles crunch under my feet?
Why do leaves fall off the trees to lie in agony?
Why am I so very tall?
Am I a monster?
Or not.
What am I?
Who am I?
Why am I here?
To give the wind someone to sting?
To let there be reasons for fairies to flee?
To let the trees grow tall?
To cause pebbles pain when I walk?
To let there be reason for leaves to fall?
