Title: The first day.
Beep Beeep beeeeep! It was 7:00 am on September first, 2002. it was going to be my first day at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.I was so excited.
After a huge going away breakfast, I went to my room. I was making sure I had all my stuff ready. I had my wand, my robes. Check Check, all my books, check. My robe, check. Yes. Everything was here.
'Brandon we're leaving in 2 minutes. get down here. My mom called. My dad is a muggle, my mom is a witch. She also went to Hogwarts.
At Kings Cross Station, my mom showed me how to get onto Platform 9 3/4. At first i looked at her like she was crazy. 'I have to walk through a brick barrier? What am I a ghost?' I asked. But I did it anyway.
I walked through, and saw a really big Scarlet Steam engine. The Hogwarts Express. I went to the far back compartment and sat down. I heard the blast of a whistle and the train started moving.
Finally, 7 hours later, we got there. To the Hogsmeade station. A very big man named Hagrid shouted 'First years over here' All of us first years took a little fleet of boats to hogwarts. The Transfiguration Teacher mett us at the Entrance HAll.
She said ' hello My name is Professor McGonagall. In a few minutes we will pass through these doors and your will be sorted into your houses. She left.
Then she came back. 'We're ready for you.' she said.. We passed through enourmous Oak doors and enterd the Great Hall. All first years went to the front where we saw an old matted hat. Professor McGonagall said that would sort us into our houses. I went first.
When i went up there, I put the hat on. It talked to the whole hall. ' Your very nice, and courages.' it said. 'Gruffindor!'
Affter the great feast, I went to my dormitory.
It was a great first day of school.
