Hatchet is an amazing book about a boy who is flying to see his dad that lives in Canada. Then out of nowhere the pilot of the plane has a violent heart attack! It’s the summer and Brian has to control the plane somehow. Brian’s brave action tries to land the plane. He amazingly does!
Now he has to survive in a wild Canadian wilderness. Brian suffers a concussion. He does find some food, but they are what Brian calls gut cherries. Then he found some raspberries! He starts to pick them then a bear comes out of the bush! The only thing the bear does is walk away! If you like suspense this book is really great for any type of reader.
