Title: Cory's Journey, Chapter 2
'Mommy, I want to go on a Pokémon quest with Cory, too!' Zeth cried. 'Sorry, honey, You're too young. Proffessor Oak wouldn't let you get a Pokémon at your young age. You have two more years to go,' Cory's mom explained to my brother. 'Well, I better get goin' now. Can't keep Proffessor Oak waitin'!' Cory said, said good bye to Zeth and his mom, and walked out the door, and started walking towards Proffessor Oak's lab. Pallet Town was very small. Cory's rival, William, lived here too. He just got his Pokémon today, too. But Cory didn't know who it was. Hopefully, it wasn't a rare Pokémon, like Eevee. 'I hope I'm not late. I shoulda checked the time before I left,' said Cory. Now how would he know if he was late? So he started running, but stopped in dead tracks as he saw a group of cheer leaders around.... William. 'William, William, he's our man! If he can't do it, no one can!' they were chanting. 'Thanks, everybody. Oh, hi, Cory! You're late, ya know. I got a Charmander, the fire Pokémon starter. There's only one left; someone named Josh took Squirtle, and Rich got Pikachu, as he didn't want Bulbasaur. Smell ya later!' William and his fans started walking towards Viridian City.
