Title: A day in the life of my puppy
Most of you must think that being a dog would be boring. Well so did I until I became one. Here I was minding my own business when I suddenly got this feeling that everything was getting bigger. Oh well it’s probably just my imagination. That theory was alright until I heard my mum say “Charlie get your nose out of the door.”
I looked around for my dog but all I saw was my backyard. When I called out to him all that came from my mouth was ‘Woof woof.’ Oh no, something must be wrong. Maybe it’s just a dream. Wrong again. I knew this immediately when my owner (me) stepped on my foot.
‘Owwwwww!!!’ I yelped. My owner is so heavy. Making a note to lose some weight when I turn back to a human, I walk over to my bone. Licking it first to make sure that the dirt doesn’t taste to bad I finish it. Rolling around in the dirt can be so much fun, especially if you are still wet from having a bath. After that little routine I decide to chase some butterflies. It is so frustrating, as soon as you get close to one it flies away.
Yay! it’s time for dinner. Oh no I have to eat dry dog food. Yuk. I ate a piece slowly and to my surprise it tasted delicious. My owner held out her hand like she wanted me to lick it, so I did.
After dinner my owner kicked the ball for me. We played for about an hour. Then came night time. Even though we both enjoyed being in different bodies we knew it was time to change back.
There was a loud bang and we were both in our normal bodies. Even now I still look at that bowl of dry dog food with a longing look. Being a dog was great fun.
