Title: Murder! (Part 1)

Lily sat by the window in the nursery, humming softly. Her son Harry was dozing in his cot. She gazed out of the window into the dark street below. Her vivid green eyes depicted dark menacing shadows moving in the darkness. One particularly menacing shadow seemed to be heading towards their house. Fear flooded Lily's senses. She pondered for a moment whether to tell her husband James something was outside their house. She waited a moment too soon. Her sensitive features visibly paled as she heard the unmistakable sound of a door being unlocked. A sudden acute pain tore though her. She snatched up Harry from his cot, causing him to wake and scream loudly. She hurriedly tried to hush him. Something was coming up the stairs.
BAM. The nursery door was blasted apart. A dark hooded figure stood in the doorway, wand pointing straight at her. Unable to speak, Lily prepared herself for the worst.
