Title: Ratings - to Leanne and Ruth others
Dear Leanne,
I thought your comments about the ratings were very insightful and true. When we rate stories, we know nothing about the authors, so we can only go on the content, age and country of the author. We try to be fair - I always take into account age and whether or not the author's first language is English. Then of course, content. Even if I don't like a story, I'll rate it on it's merit, rather than whether I like it or not. But in the end, it's still my opinion and I'm only one person of billions, so people who get 3's and 4's (which are still good ratings) shouldn't worry about it.
