She wasn’t really their aunt she was their there’d grate cousin twice removed on there mothers side. She insisted that they called her auntie because “Grate cousin” made her feel old. The Darcey’s did not see the point of all this name changing as sixty-seven is a good enough age to admit you are old.
The last of the four at a mere age of eight months is Eric. Eric at the moment was being pushed around the town in an old pushchair by eight year old Felicity as she did the weekly shopping.
So how did these four youngsters get bundled up in such a misfortunate life?
This howl road through trouble and disappear started just after Eric was born. The three eldest children where on the park and Eric was in his pram when it started rolling down the hill and out in to the busy road. So that was the sad end to there mother’s life but their father’s was a different story. Mr Darcey may still be alive for all they know after there mother died he handed the m over to aunt Joan after reassuring them that he would be back in tow days time. He went to France to see his brother and never returned. It has now been over seven months and they had remanded in the care of Auntie Joan ever sins. Felicity Hannah and James did not blame Eric for their mothers deaf as it was not his fault that his pram rolled into the road, Although he could be a bit of a handful at some times. He was only one month old when he was ripped away from his parents. Live with auntie Joan is hard work for all of them
