Karl walked and bumped into a girl named Cyndine. 'Oh! I see you have a pokemon egg...' she said. 'Where did you get it?' she asked. 'Professor Oak,' Karl replied. 'Oh well I have a Crockanaw and I got it from Professor Elm,' Cyndine replied. 'I studied pokemon eggs in school last month,' she said. 'How do you make one hatch faster?' asked Karl. 'Only by a Kingdra's swift attack will it hatch quicker,' She said. Just then a tall boy walked near them. 'Hi i'm Kenji do you kids need help?' he asked. 'Yes I want my egg to hatch but it can only hatch soon by a Kingdra's Swift.' he said. 'I bet you want it to hatch so you can battle Erin huh?' asked Kenji. 'Ya,' said Karl. 'No sweat Kingdra go!' called Kenji. It did swift and the egg hatched into a level 5 baby Pineco.
Cyndine,Kenjie, and Karl walked toward Erin's Ice GYM.
