Title: My first day at Hogwarts
I recieved a letter in the mail from Prof. McGonagall. It said that I had been accepted into Hogwarts School of WItchcraft and Wizardry! On the next page, it showed my supply list. My dad was a wizard, and my mom was a muggle. I went to Diagon Alley and got all my stuff. I went to the owlery, but they said that they were all out of owls! Instead, they gave me the next best thing: a large egg. The egg felt warm, and it made strange noises. I also bought my wand, and my books and cauldron. I heard a faint meowing noise from behind me. There was a spotted gray and black cat behind me. I decided to keep it and I named it Violet. The cat followed me onto the train. I sat down next to a person with another cat and the two cats purred. Then my egg hatched! Inside was a small blue dragon. When we got to Hogwarts the dragon, which I named Fireball, flew beside me, and Violet walked along with me. I put on the sorting hat and I was sorted into Ravenclaw. I looked about the right type for Ravenclaw, smart, athletic, you get the picture. I settled into my dorm room with some other Ravenclaw girls. The next day, it was potions lesson, which everyone dreaded. Prof. Snape came in and everybody groaned. Then he gave 5 points to Slytherin from Ravenclaw. That was so unfair! But he didn't notice Fireball sleeping in his hair. Fireball made a squeaking sound and chewed on Snape's hair. Then he sneezed and burnt a little of Snape's hair off. Violet was using Snape's leg for a scratching post. Everyone in Ravenclaw was laughing, especially me. Then, Fireball fell of Snape's head and grabbed onto his robes, which he sneezed and burnt that off, too. I took my pets home after potions, and relaxed a little. My first day at Hogwarts was funny and exciting.
