Title: My Friend Elf
Patrick is walking down the halls at school, ready to go home. Just then, he stumbles upon a small elf, about the size of a ruler. 'Hey, you're cool. I want to take you home to be my friend. Do you want to come? Do you have a family?' Patrick says.
The elf says, 'Yeah, I was actually looking for someone to take me home. I have no family.'
Patrick says, 'I want to keep you a secret.'
The elf says, 'I can become invisible, so don't worry.'
The elf says, 'How much homework do you have? I can help you.'
Patrick says, 'A lot, but I have to go to dinner with my family.'
The elf says, 'You go to dinner, and I'll do your homework. My elf job is to do kids' homework. I have just been trained, and I have to stay with you forever.'
Patrick says, 'That sounds cool.'
The elf responds, 'I am like a fairy godparent, I can grant wishes, too.'
Patrick says mischievously, 'This is gonna be fun.' He goes out to eat and the elf does Patrick's homework.
When Patrick returns from dinner, he finds the test on his desk, but he doesn't find the elf. He searches everywhere, and finally finds the elf under the bed. The elf is asleep on a miniature city of gold!
The next morning, Patrick turns in his test. The teacher, Mrs. Isaac, calls him in at lunch and she pretends he is in trouble. She says, 'Young man, I am SHOCKED with your paper!'
Patrick asks, 'Why? What did I do?'
Her frown becomes a smile and she says, 'You got an A+. Keep up the good work.'
He says, 'Don't worry, I will.' Then he smiles, flashing a gold tooth.
