Title: Crookshanks' Secret Love (Chapter 1)
Crookshanks sat next to Hermione's bed. His eyes locked onto Hermione's magical watch on the nightstand. Almost six. I better wake her up. He leapt onto the bed. 'Meiow,' he said as he rubbed against her.
Hermione yawned and sat up. ''Morning, Crookshanks. Time to get ready for class?'
Why else would I wake you up? Crookshanks rolled his eyes. Humans! He leap off the bed, strolled out of the dormitory, and walked down the stairs. He then walked to a corner of the Common Room to a picture of a cat on the wall.
The cat moved and looked at Crookshanks. 'Password?'
'Egypt.'
A square appeared around the cat and it swung open, showing a tunnel. Crookshanks hurried through the opening. It was dark but Crookshanks eyes absorbed what little light there was. Other tunnels led off of his, along with Tunnel System Entrances (TSE). Crookshanks stopped at one of them and pushed it open. He stepped out into a hallway. Everything seemed fine, until… CRASH!
'MEOW!' Crookshanks nearly leapt out of his skin. What was THAT? But before he could think about what it might be a man and a cat went flying past him. Crookshanks rushed after them, curious. He ran fast but could not catch up and he had to stop to catch his breath. Who is that cat? He sure can run. Crookshanks started to run again.
By the time they stopped Crookshanks thought his heart would burst.
'PEEVES,' shouted the man. 'YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GET AWAY WITH THIS!' A pile a broke chamber pots was in front of them. Crookshanks looked over to the other cat. To his surprise it was a girl.
This must be Mrs. Norris, Crookshanks thought. And this man must be Filch. I heard she was scrawny. She's not scrawny. She's beautiful.
'Come on, my sweet,' said the man after finish shouting. 'Lets go tell Dumbledore what Peeves has done. Maybe then he will get rid of him.'
Mrs. Norris looked up at her master then to Crookshanks. 'Meet me here at eight o'clock tonight. I have to go.' She whisked around and followed her master.
Crookshanks stared after her.
