Title: After all, I still have my friends
He broke up with me. Cody broke up with me. I knew our relationship wouldn't last forever, but why did it have to end so soon? And, I thought I'd be the heart breaker, not him.Well, let me tell you the whole story.
Cody was that blond haired, blue eyed, tall boy all the girls liked. He was my age, but in 7th grade. I'm in 8th. I bet your wondering, how does an 8th grader know a 7th grader? Well, he's Vennessa, my friends, little brother.
I had liked him for over a year, and I just got the courage to ask him out. He said yes!! I thought that this was the happest day of my life. We talked on the phone and wrote love notes back and forth. We walked to class together whenever we could. It was your typical middle school relationship.
But, then he gave me this note:
Not to be mean or anything, but I don't want a girlfriend. Please, please, please don't be mad at me.C ya.
Not be mad at you? How could I not be mad at you? I thought. I loved him a lot, but I guessed I wasn't good enough for him. My friends said that I was too good for him an he wasn't worth it. I didn't listen. I really liked this guy!
Three weeks has passed and I still am upset. I know I will get over him, after all, I still have my friends.
