Title: THOCKMAN THE FRUSTRATED ELF
Filoor Thockman joined Santa's operations about 300 years ago. He had been fascinated by science and technology and knew Sir Isaac Newton personally. He tried to convince Santa to build intelligent and often advanced toys for children he knew deserved more than the innane toys they had been requesting and receiving for centuries. It got worst as time went on.
He wanted Santa to deliver toy steam engines during the late 18th century, but Santa said no. He wanted Santa to deliver toy telephones and cars during the late 19th century and Santa said no. He managed to convince Santa to deliever computerized toys and games during the late 20th century, but the old man didn't have his elves produce enough. That was the last straw for Thockman.
The still young elf convinced about 100 other elves to follow him to a location 1000 miles to the south of Santa's workshop where he found a giant cave that could house his independent operations. He had secretly invested in stock markets and companies throughout our dimension and had earned tens of billions of dollars. He bought all the equipment and raw materials he needed to set up his company Thockman Incorporated.
By 2010, TI was producing and delivering items that often were more advanced than adult toys. They were far ahead of Santa's toys. But Thockman was still frustrated. Children thought the superior toys that accompanied Santa's were also made in Santa's workshop.
Starting in 2012, any child receiving a Thockman device or toy will know it because when they open the package they will see a card that says: MADE MY A THOCKMAN EMPLOYEE OF ELF INCORPORATED.
