Title: 'Twas Nights After Christmas...

'Twas nights after Christmas
And all throught the house,
Not a creature was stirring
(there wasn't a mouse).
The parents were snoring
The children asleep
Dreaming of Pringles and
Such things to eat.
When the puppy was sleeping
At the foot of their bed
There arose such a clatter;
It rose it's head.
It jumped off the mattress
And onto the floor
And found exactly
What it was looking for.
There, in the doorway
There stood a choir
Of angels, singing- the song
Raised higher and higher.
The family awoke and out
Of their rooms did they flee
When suddenly they realized
"My Lord! It is He!"
There, in the middle
There stood a great Man
With a crown of thorns on his brow
And nails in His hands.
He looked in a Book
And turned several pages
And said, "I'm sorry,
You're not in here," said the King
of ages.
