Title: Shadowy Secrets

What, I say what
do the shadows hide
What empowering secrets
Are hidden inside?

What walks tonight
above their tomb,
Concealed within this
very room?

What demons seek
a grateful host?
Is there any
ancient ghost?

What is playing
With your mind?
what fright is here
For us to find?

Is that creaking
Just the door?
What casts that glow
Upon the floor?

What spirits in
The darkness dwell?
What gremlins weave
a cunning spell?

Death's cold grip
Or a rattle of bones,
What horrid Monsters
Here have homes?

What evils,
Otherwise denied
What, I say what
Do the shadows hide?
