Title: The Grave Misfortune - Prolougue

Prologue-

It was not unknown to Frodo Baggins that he was being followed. He had sensed it some time ago, but had not bothered himself to fret over it. He knew it was dangerous to have an unnamely prescence following you, but Frodo had to ignore thinking of it this way, as it made him feel uncanny. He continued to walk along the dark grassy bank of the Brandywine river.
Suddenly, as Frodo paused for a few seconds to gaze at his shivering, distressed reflection, a hand lurched into his back, and he reeled into the murky depths. Some villagers nearby heard the splash, and left the houses quickly, tugging on coats and hats, but were too late to save poor Frodo from drowning. Or too late to see the retreating back of the evil monster that had drowned innocent Frodo Baggins of the Shire in the depths of the Brandywine. Although, not to say that he really was innocent...
