It was his special place! There were always never darkening, spooky candels all along the passage corridors... yes there were corridors, hundreds of them, all leading out to someplace... it would take someone 3 life times to work the whole place out. And knowing the way roung? Not possible... unless you had the map. It was always left in the same place...
Lad was fed up of waiting around for nothing to happen, so he looked at the old, map with its pages curling and browning at the edges. He had only covered about 1/100 of the whole secret passageway, since the 4 years he had known about it... he wished he could share it with someone.
Lad came across a place which was not labelled... and his curiosity got the better of him...
He followed the map as best he could, but he kept thinking he was taking the wrong turnings, and he was sure he was lost at least 3 times! But alas, he came to an opening... it was a ladder. 'Going up!' he thought.
At the top of the ladder, there was a trap door, with a lock. Damn, Lad thought. But whoever had made it did try to hard, as, as soon as Galahad touched it, it crumbled in him fingers!
The trap door fell open, and there was carpet or something above him... so he pushed... and he realised he was under a Pursian Rug! He crawled through to find himself being screamed at, screamed and screamed at. But by a voice he new only too well.
'Page?...' he asked.
