I am a mother of a 7-year-old girl that does not like to write because her spelling is not what she thinks it should be. When we found this site I asked her if she would write a story and have it rated to see what others thought. She didn't want to at first, but I told her that if her ratings were not very high then she could make a goal of making them higher by writing different stories and submitting them. This is a very good idea I think, because it teaches my daughter more than just writing. It gets her imagination working, it helps to keep her mind occupied by having goals and it does a real good job on esteem, especially when your working for higher ratings and you get them, also it helps her to handle constructive criticism. I'm glad this site is here.
