Every evening,right at eight,
Lester starts levitate.
Rising from his easy chair,
Lester hovers in the air.
Lester doesn't show surprise
at his unsupported rise,
noting, as the ceiling nears,
"It's been going on for years
Lester seems a trfle smug,
four full feet above the rug,
oviously pleased that he
breaks the laws of gravity
puffed with self-important pride,
Lester says,"i'm mystified,
but it's eminently clear
I alone can dangle here!"
