Title: ETERNAL LOVE

As he looked in her eyes, he saw the pain inside.
Because she knew that she could no longer hide.
Everyday, he gave away her love that she gave to him.
He didn't care at all about her, so she just wanted to give in. But she told herself that she has to hold on to the little bit of love they had.
But he pretends she's not there, and he makes her so sad.
She reaches out to try to keep touching his heart, but no matter what she does, they will always be apart.
One day, although scared and afraid, she called him on the phone.
After silence for a minute he said he had to go.
When they hung up, she started to cry.
She was finally realizing that their love would die.
She didn't want to lose him.
She couldn't live without him.
He knew he loved her too, but he needs to be free; he needs to live his life happily.
He knows that he will miss her, but he has to let her go.
He is a guy, he needs his pride, and he can't let his feeling show.
He wanted to see her one last time, before they said goodbye.
So he got in the taxi, out of the rain, so he could stay dry.
While on his way to her house, she had the same plan.
Just one more time she wished to hold his hand.
So she walked into the rain, thinking that their love would regain.
But little did she know that the love would bring more pain.
She got into the taxi, and drove down the street.
He was in another town, and he thought they'd meet.
Meet they did, but not as they wished.
The rain came down hard, and the windshield wipers swished.
They both were thinking about what they'd say to each other, but neither of them decided.
Because the rain came down so violent, it made it hard to see and the two taxis collided.
At the time they hit, they were on a bridge.
They both swerved to the side and tried to hit the brake.
They slammed into the rail, and flew into the lake.
They were drowning in the freezing lake, when he got out of the car.
He dove under to save her, the dive he took was far.
He got her to the top, but the water was only a little above freezing.
He tried to keep her warm, because she was hardly breathing.
He grabbed her hand, and she grabbed his.
They knew this was the end; they knew that this was it.
They didn't want to die this way, but at least they were together, so he told her that he always had, and always would love her forever.
He apologized for all the pain he had given her.
And she told him that it was okay, and she'd already forgiven him.
She told him that she had been so lucky to have found love before she died.
She confessed all her love to him, for she never could have lied.
He raised his head to the sky, and said, "Don't worry, now we can be together.
We will live eternal life, and say goodbye to the pain forever."
She started to cry, and the tears froze to her face. She told him that she loved him, and no one could ever have taken his place.
She said, "I'll see you up there, I'll save you a seat."
He checked her pulse, and there was no beat.
He cried so hard, that his face froze to ice.
He wondered how this could have happened.
I guess it's just the role of the dice.
He thought in his brain that was slowly slipping away, "I wish we could have been together just one more day."
A few seconds later, he died of the cold. His arms around her he would always hold....
