The screaing stopped and sure enough Page was there.Sitting in a corner in front of the fire.'wat are you doing in my house?'ASked Lad?page repied,'this is my house!i always come up here for peace and quiet.','so do i?'replied Lad,'maybe this is connected allong all the houses in this street but i don't see any oteer trap doors except that oen there','that'sm the one i come out of,'replied page,'I've been searching ever since i was a little girl and i couldn't find any others,','either could i'replied lad.'I used to all ways think there's was another creature up here cause i always heard moving and i saw figures running around.'said page ,lad commented,'yes, same and this place was my home it's always warm.'They sat down in a char and reflected each other's memories for a while and then they heard a noise rummaging down stairs saying,'hunny,Page is gone!she's our of her bed again!we must find her!she's probably ran away with that boy!I really don't like those parents!we must find er now!'Page said,'that's my aprents!I'd better go bye!'she kissed him and ran off down her trap door.Lad heard Page's parents screaming 'where were you' and page replied 'i went to get a drink!'
Lad sat back in the arm chair and then under lad's trap door.Came out a hand and other and another?3 hands popped out and there was the most horrid face.It was Lad's dad!
