Title: RAINY DAYS

It was pouring down rain,
At my small cozy cottage,
I could hear the steady beating of the rain on the roof,
It was if faries were tap dancing above my head.

I sit beside the window,
In my grandmothers old rocking chair,
Gazing outward,
At the rolling country hills.

I sip irish breakfast tea,
With my silky soft kitten curled upon my lap.

My book at hand,
Telling a glorious story,
Of fierce knights,
Gallant steeds,
Elegant princesses and horrifing creatures,
Such as huge dragons that blow flaming fire.

I forget all my trobles at times like these,
Oh! How I love RAINY DAYS.
