Have you ever been some place,
Without moving from your seat?
When you open a book,
When you take a look,
The adventure begins.
You journey to that world,
You share the troubles,
You experience the scares,
You feel the laughter,
You seek the quest.
Back to ancient history,
Nowadays in present time,
Onward to the future.
To exotic countries,
Shadowy woods,
Under the sea,
Dry dirty deserts,
To the twirling planets.
Reading can take you anywhere,
Reading is your magic carpet,
Soaring through the universe.
Reading is an ODYSSEY.
