Title: Lightning + Thunder = Storm

Lightning + Thunder = Storm

Lightning for ked across the sky,
Sending eerie shadows into the room.
Outside thunder Rumbled,
Shaking the ground beneath me.
My mom paced the floor,
Listening to the storm and radio.
The wind crashed against the house,
Bringing with the pounding hail.
My dog’s ears stayed alert,
While their foreheads wrinkled with puzzlement.
I strained my ears to hear something else,
But I only found silence.
Outside the storm grew louder,
The wind howled, the rain hurled,
The lightning flashed, the thunder crashed,
All of a sudden with one last rumble,
Like a bowling ball hitting the last pin,
The thunder stopped,
And the storm was over,
I let out a sigh of relief.
