Title: Skully and Me
Here at my house we have 2 cats, a ferret, and 2 dogs. My favorite pet is my big Lab/Chow mix. His name is Skully. The reason he is my favorite is because we do lots of things together. We live in the country on a farm and we have lots of room to roam.
In the summer time, Skully and I like to ride in Dad's jeep. We go down a long dirt road to the creek, we call it Blizzard Ford, because it is on Blizzard Road. I like to watch Skully's ears flap in the wind while we are riding. When we get to Blizzard Ford, we hop out of the jeep and head for the water. Skully is a great swimmer. I throw a ball in the water and he goes to get it for me. We can play like that for hours. We also wrestle around in the water, splashing and jumping, tagging each other, it's really fun!
Before we go home, Skully and I have to stay out in the sun to dry off for a while, so we usually go on a nature hike through the woods. One time we found an old shed back there and used it as our club house when we went to Blizzard Ford. Anyway, after we dry off, we hop into the jeep to go home and I get to watch Skully's ears again. Sometimes,
I get to camp out in the yard with him.
