Title: Turkey for Dinner
It was Thanksgiving Day and my house smelled great. There was a pumpkin pie in the oven, mashed potatoes on the stove, and my mom was in the middle of making her famous corn bread stuffing. It was my job to set the table, but when I went into the dining room, I couldn't believe what I saw! There was a live turkey running around the room. I screamed, and my mom said, 'What in the world is going on in there?' She took one step into the dining room and fell to the floor. 'Well, what do you know?' I said. Then, I noticed something about the turkey I hadn't before. It was wearing a dark black suit. 'Oh, great! Starwars Episode 27 is finally her,' I said. All of a sudden the turkey pulled something off his belt. He pushed a botton and, 'VRONG!' A lightsaber came out of it.'You are doomed!' the turkey screamed. 'How am I going to fight him?' I asked myself. Then, a little green man popped out of nowhere. 'Yoda!' I yelled. 'No,' he replied. 'I am yodaler. I have brought you something' He pulled out a lightsaber and gave it to me. 'Use the force, Brady!' He told me. 'Yoldelayeehoo!' He disappeared. The turkey jumped at me. BANG! ZAP! The fight went on for hours. Finally, the turkey fell to the floor. 'Before you kill me,' said the turkey, 'I must tell you something. I am not your father. I, am your dinner.' I lifted My lightsaber and stabbed the turkey. 'Glad that's over with!' I sighed. I ran into the living room. 'Dad! Dad! Dinner's ready!' I was stopped by a strange hologram. 'You did well,' it told me. 'Who are you?' I asked it. 'I,' it replied, 'am Mama the Mutt.' 'Well thanks for the complement!' It disappeared as I ran to my dad's room. 'Thanksgiving was weird this year!' I said to myself. 'NOT AS WEIRD AS NEXT YEAR!'
