Title: Waxful Existence

I am confined in a box,
with 23 brothers and sisters.
Everyday we are taken out,
over and over again.
Dragged along the floor, we are,
leaving trails of lines.
Every minute we shrink in size,
until my clothes no longer fit me.
When that happens,
I hope it won't,
I will be forever imprisoned,
in my home,
until it is filled with dust,
and my siblings are there also.

A Storyteller Topic - Kids Are Poets Too
Poetry is a great way to express yourself, whether you're feeling down or on top of the world. There are many different types of poems and remember, they don't have to rhyme.
