Title: The Death Of A Loved One

It all started on a day like any other - the smell of spring seeping in - the wind blowing through the trees making beautiful music. I came home from being with my friends - my mother in her chair, my aunt, my cousins, my sisters all in the living room; crying. I was scared. A profound sense of fear arose in my body. As I looked into my mothers dark brown eyes, full of tears, I knew what had happened. My aunt, my favorite aunt was gone. Not only gone, but gone by her own choice. " Why her? Why not me?" I could feel my blood boiling inside, my body full of hate. " Am I dreaming? Is this really happening?" I ran out, I ran so fast - no idea where I was going. Just away, far away, away from the pain. When I finally stopped I knelt down and cried. " Lord, why her? Why not me?"
