one day,peichi came to my house to play.iT was a bright beautiful december morning,and the air was cool.I was bored with the warm house,and wanted to go outside.I grabbed my green sweater and peichi grabbed her sunny daisy coat.'Wut do u wanna do?' peichi asked me as soon as we were in the vivid fresh world of the outdoors.I looked at her.There seemed to be a change in her.she looked more stronger,her hair was more crisp and black,her brown eyes seeemed so cheerful.She was beginning to become confident.I smiled.'Come here,peichi.' I ordered her.She walked toward me smiling.'what are we gonna do?' she asked happily.I grinned like jen,smile shining as bright as dewdrops on clear mornings.'you'll see.lie down,'I demanded.Peichi obediantly lied down.I layed down nex t to her with a thump..'now relax and tune all other sounds out.' i said to her.I waited awhile.Soon,i heard nothing but my heart beating against my green sweater.I thought I could hear Peichi's heart too.then.....i herd the sound i wanted to hear most of all: the earth's heart.So then,on that beautiful december morning,three hearts beated as one lying on the grass.The grass smelled like it was freshly mowed and sprayed with perfume.I saw peichi look up at the sun and smile.'Everything...feels...so ' peichi searched her brain for the right words...'relaxed.' she finsihed and turned her head to look at me.Her eyes glittered with happiness.I smiled at her,the way jen smiled back at the P.E field.'Why do we feel like this Alexandra?' peichi asked me.I felt like I was a grandma,and peichi was the child asking me a wonderful heartful question.I guess this was how jen felt too.'becuz..' I began 'becuz wen u lie down....' i lowered my voice to a whisper 'becuz wen u lie down,everything in your eyes..' i looked up at the sun and closed my eyes '.....is good.'
