Between the earth and sky I hover
With silver wings, but I'm not a bird
As different from black as red is from clover
I make no noise, but what moves me is heard.
I am coated with a cotton sheen
I gaze down below at the earth
I gaze at blue, look down at green
When water comes up, more of me give birth.
