The Worst Day of My Life

I'm Sirius. And I'm here to tell you about that day. Yes, that horrible day.

I had gone over to tell them the news,
Of that new wizard band that sang the blues.
I was scared to death
Because the windows where drawn.
I could just barely see what happened for
It was dawn.
A massive figure was comming up fast.
I could see their bodies through the Shattered glass.
The figure,Hagrid,went in to find
That baby Harry hadn't died.
My favorite child had some how servived!
I begged Hagrid to let me have him,
But he simply wouldn't give in.
So in the end,
I let him have my beloved bike.
I told him I could just hike,
Back to my old, rundown house
With my heart full of fear.
For this would be the talk
For some many years.
Harry had lived but James and Lily had not.
I knew that this dreadful night
Would never be forgot.
