'Why us, of all people?' Lily Potter asked her husband. 'Because,' James said heavily, 'he doesn't care who it is, as long as he gets the chance to kill them.' James looked down at baby Harry who was laying in his mother's arms. Lily wiggled her fingers at Harry's nose, and he giggled and grabbed at them. 'We might as well get upstairs, then,' Lily said, yawning, to James. 'We can't, I've already asked Sirius to come over!' James replied. 'Oh- umm...okay,' Lily said.
Just then, there was a knock on the door. 'I'll get it, hon,' James said, rising from the sofa and walking over to the door. James opened the door and Sirius Black's smiling face waited on the other side. 'Sirius!' James exclaimed. 'Come in!' 'Thanks, Prongs,' Sirius said, smiling. Sirius walked over to Lily. 'Hello, Lily,' said Sirius brightly. 'Hello, Sirius,' Lily answered. Sirius saw Harry and leaned over to him. 'Why, hello there,' he cooed. 'And how's my favorite Godson, eh?' 'Hungry,' Lily chuckled. 'I'll get his bottle, Lil',' James said, laughing. James walked into the kitchen to get Harry's bottle while Sirius and Lily talked. James got the bottle and walked back into the living room where Sirius and Lily were now playing with Harry. 'Why don't I ever get to play with him, eh?' James asked as he walked over and put his arms around Lily. 'Because you're always changing his diapers,' Lily said. The group laughed.
