Title: A Christmas Poem

Along the line of green fir trees,
The snowflakes flutter down,
And shimmer in the soft, cool breeze,
Then settle on the ground.

The children are all tucked in,
And waiting for the morn',
When carolers are out to sing,
And Jesus Christ was born.

The Christmas lights are laid upon,
The many different roofs,
Awaiting like the children for,
Those teeny, tiny hooves.

And far off in the distance,
The voice was loud and bright,
"Merry Christmas to all,
And to all a good night".

A Storyteller Topic - Kids Are Poets Too
Poetry is a great way to express yourself, whether you're feeling down or on top of the world. There are many different types of poems and remember, they don't have to rhyme.
