Title: Episode 5: One New Recruit, Part 1
'I should take Pichu to the Pokémon Center. It's getting pretty tired. While
it's being healed, I'll buy some more Potions,' I said. Before anyone could reply,
I was in the Pokémon Center. I saw a nurse at the counter, walked up to her,
and asked, 'Hi! Can you heal my Pichu? It's pretty tired from battling trainers' Pokémon.'
'Sure. My name's Nurse Joy. Come back in a half hour or so,' Nurse Joy said.
'Thanks! I'll be back in a while to pick it up,' I said, then walked to the Mart in Cherrygrove City.
I walked up to the man at the counter and asked, 'Hi, can I have 10 Potions please?'
'That'll be 1,000 dollars,' the man said. I gave him the money and put the bottles in my
backpack. I thanked him and decided to explore the town more.
Outside, I saw a man by the Mart. 'Hi, there! I see you're a rookie trainer, eh? I remember
when I was a rookie. I'll show you around a bit if you want me to,' he offered. 'Um, sure. I guess,' I said.
'Okay then. Follow me,' he said. He told me about Pokémon Centers, Marts, the way to Route 3, and when we got to his house,
he said, 'And this is my house! Thank you for givin' me comapany. As a token of my appreciation, take this map of Johto.'
I took the map and said, 'Wow, thanks. I'm sure I can put this in good use,' I said. 'Well, good luck rookie trainer!' he said, and walked
into his house. I then went to the Pokémon Center to pick Pichu up. I saw Pichu with Jason, Sako, Colin, Anna and Katie already.
Pichu jumped into my arms. 'Pichu, let's go catch two Pokémon before we leave Cherrygrove. I still got the Pokéballs from Prof. Elm,' I said.
So Pichu and I headed towards Route 2. Then a owl Pokémon appeared.
'What's that?' I asked, and took my Pokédex out. 'Hoothoot, a nocturnal Pokémon,' it said.
That's all the info it gives? I thought. 'Okay, let's get this one, Pichu! Thundershock!' I cried.
Pichu shocked Hoothoot with electricity. Hoothoot almost fainted. 'Pokéball, GO!' I cried as I threw an empty
Pokéball. The ball hit Hoothoot and it was zapped inside the Pokéball.
