Title: Flattened Heart

I wait for you,
In the shadowy darkness.
I wait for you to bring
me in the light.

I dream of your lips
brushing my face.
I imagine your body
against mine.
And then I turn around
and you're gone.

I need to go somewhere.
To get away from this
place,
This stressful space of
love.

I want you to come to me.
I want to rest my head
upon your chest, and
forget about life.

All I really want to know
right now is if you
think about me too.
If you feel upset when we
depart.
Or when you see me, you
feel butterflies flutter
in your heart.

I wait for you to come to me.
For you to bring me in your
light.
I wait for the day we meet
again and share our love
through endless nights.
