Title: Why
I stare up at the sky
and see clouds flying by
and I think to myself, why
why am I here
and why are you there
and why should either of us even care
if the clouds are flying by
or if theres a cloud in the sky
or why the sky is up so high
and why should we care
whats going on today
when we know the thoughts
will bring us dismay
and why should we care
about war and shame
when we know the thoughts
will just bring us pain
and why should I think
of any one but me
when I have my own problems
I'm trying to flee
there are so many problems in the world today
its foolish to think we can keep them at bay
so people stare up at the shy
and watch clouds flying by
but I won't worry
'til they stop asking why
