Title: Cara'a war part 3
As soon as my Father stepped in the front door, he looked dissapointed.
'Cara, I should have believed you, the Germans have already bombed a small part of Yorkshire, where you were going to be evaccuated!' He explained.
Mother gasped, shocked by the news. What I'd heard was true. I was the first to know, but what happened to Dad? He might have got the sack because he didn't tell them sooner.
'Dad.' I asked. 'What did Mr Timmins say?'
'I told him before the incident, they sent out messages and that is the reason why only a small area was bombed. It is because of you that I have got a promotion.' Father said cheerily.
'A promotion?' Mother said flabbergahsted.
'Yes, I am now deputy head manager for The British Military Royal Headquarters.'
'Oh, that is the best news I have heard for ages. Congratulations dear' My Mother cheered.
'But there is some bad news.' Father explained. 'We have to leave for the bomb shelter tonight. A bomb is expected.'
'Oh no. Right Cara, Micheal, go and get a few things together. We'll do the same Harry.' Mother ordered. 'We need to leave before 6.30.'
With that we did as order as quickley as we could and ran the few streets to the air raid shelter.
