Title: Detention!
I need to get every ones attention!
I need to mention that I hate detention!
This is a short story,
But I'll tell you this; it does have a lot of glory,
When the teacher says, "You have detention!"
You always mention "I don't care."
But you are thinking this is not fair,
You feel like getting a knife,
To take away your life,
It's like a really bad curse,
There is not way it could be any worse,
The teachers a pain,
It really starts to hurt your brain,
It's not like it's the best,
You can't even take a rest,
If you did the teacher would say, "Don't go to sleep…
You better sit up and don't make a peep!
Open a book and stick in your nose,
Or look at me with you mouth closed!"
You feel like say, "GO TAKE A HIKE!"
But you know she'd be like…
"What did you say?
Would you like to be in here another day?
Then that is when you say, "Okay okay, I don't want to stay!"
If I keep this up I will be in here another day,
You need to know the teacher is always right,
So don't even try to put up a fight,
ATTENTION!
