Title: Prologue (part 2)
“The women’s eyes widened, her hands were clenched and her mind was whirling with thoughts. “ How dare you,” thundered the women, her eyes burning with fury, “How dare you!” not believing this ultimate betrayal. “So you finally figured it out” the sorceress smiled, amused by the women’s reaction. “Finally you’ve realized Lady Liddian that you are my bait”. “That’s Queen Liddian to you!” Liddian spoke. Suddenly her knee exploded with pain as if someone was squeezing it. “I’d be careful my lady” the sorceress eyed the queen. “You could get yourself in trouble with that tongue”. The sorceress lowered her hand and Liddian’s pain was gone.
“Your never going to find my baby is,” Liddian, whispered. For the first time Liddian looked away from the sorceress, feeling sick from the pain of her knee. “You will tell in time” the sorceress announced, “all of them do, my longest to crack took five years! But after cutting off his ears and two fingers he finally gave in!” “You’ll be easy, you’re a girl for starters” “Why not just kill me? I don’t even know where my baby is” Liddian asked. “Because I don’t plan to kill you!” the sorceress laughed at the Queen. The sound of her laugh gave a sudden coldness, “I intend to kill your child” The sorceress smiled, her bright white teeth gleaming. “And my dear Lady when I do and I will, guess who will be there to witness the scene?” The sorceress laughed again.
