Title: hermione's love hurts
Hermione ran to the stage, where there was a tremendous crash and a flash of green light, and green light shot from Seamus wand straight on to Ron, leaving him paralysed to the spot. ‘Leg-locker curse’ muttered Hermione. As soon as Ron had gained use of his legs again he shouted ‘Expelliarmus’, Seamus called,’ Incendio’ the two spells got caught in mid-flow and exploded. Hermione needed to make them stop, but there was no way they would listen to her, all they cared about was proving how much they wanted her. Suddenly hermione thought of something, it was reckless, but had to be done. She ran up on the stage, just as the two boys both shouted ‘Verdimillious’. They saw what hermione was doing, but it was too late. Oliver and Neville made it to the door, they saw red light shoot from either wand, hermione in the middle. Seamus who was the fastest one there, ran to the middle of the stage, pushed hermione out of the way and screamed in agony as he took the full blast of both spells. For a few moments he floated in mid-air, glowing a faint red light, then fell, and lay motionless on the floor.
‘No’ screamed hermione as she darted forwards to Seamus still form, her eyes full of tears. Seamus sandy hair was blowing in the breeze, his eyes were half closed. She fell on top of Seamus and cried, ‘Hermione…’ Ron began, but Oliver lead him outside, and left hermione in peace. It was a while, however until she noticed something, Seamus was breathing, he was alive! She took out her wand and whispered hopefully ‘Enervate’
Seamus opened his eyes and blinked furiously in the sunlight. ‘Hermione’ he said weakly, as he made to get up. ‘Shh’, she said soothingly, ‘save your strength Seamus, you’re injured, just relax’. She waved her wand and conjured a stretcher. She took him into her arms and helped him onto it. ‘He’s battered and bruised, but I know he’s the one for me’ she thought ‘I’ve never had anyone who would risk their life for me before’. She went with him to the common room, holding his hand. Ron was sobbing in the background, but Hermione didn’t hear him, she had Seamus now after all, if only he would still have her.
