Title: That Sad day
That sad day that Lord Voldemort killed the Potters is a very sad one indeed. Harry was only a baby about 4 months old when all of His neighbors suddenly closed their blinds and hid in their closets. They all had seen Lord Voldemort coming up to Harry's door. Harry's Mom and Dad weren't scared in the slightest. They thought he couldn't see them because they had on a charm and nobody could see them unless they knew the charm's password. What they didn't know is that their password had been told earilier that day. By Peter Pettigrew. So Lord Voldemort smiled to himself as he saw them because he knew they didn't think he saw them. He blasted in the door. And looked right at Lily and James Potter. They suddenly knew he saw them. James said to his wife, ' Take Harry and run! I'll hold him back!' Lily didn't want to leave James alone with Lord Voldemort but she was concerened for Harry's saftey. So she took Harry and ran as hard as she could while Brave James Potter and Evil Lord Voldemort dueled. They dueled fast and furious but Lord Voldemort got the better of the duel. With the killing curse he struck James and James suddenly lost his Qwuidwitch ability to dodge. He got hit. Then he chased after Lily. And everyone knows what happens there...........
